Honoring Black History Month

ATLANTA, GA (PR) - "During Black History Month, we pause to honor some of history's greatest leaders, innovators, Civil Rights advocates, and public servants," said Georgia Republican Party Chairman John Padgett.

"Bold leaders like Booker T. Washington, Fredrick Douglass, and CT Walker triumphed over adversity and weathered the storms of oppression to advance the cause of freedom, ensure economic opportunity, and safeguard the American Dream for future generations."

"Black History Month allows us the opportunity to reflect upon achievements made by great men and women throughout history," said Michael McNeely, 1st Vice-Chairman of the Georgia Republican Party.  "This work must not be relegated to the past, but it should inspire each of us to make a significant impact in our world."

"As we celebrate black history, we also rededicate ourselves to advancing policies that inspire and uplift all communities," said Leo Smith, Georgia Republican Party Minority Engagement Director.  "From expanding school choice to empowering job creators and entrepreneurs, we must remain committed to working together for the betterment of mankind."
