A New Bus Terminal for Augusta?


AUGUSTA, GA (Anibal Ibarra) - Richmond County Commission approved a resolution in support of a parking complex for passenger vehicles on the property located on Reynolds Street, across the Augusta Museum, between 5th and 6th Streets. Mayor Hardie Davis put a brake to Commissioner Marion Williams in his attempt to filibuster. He was the lonely nay vote.

Z-15-03 – A request for concurrence with the Augusta Georgia Planning Commission to approve with the conditions listed below a petition by Shewangizaw Miriam requesting a change of zoning from Zone B-1 (Neighborhood Business) to Zone B-2 (General Business), for the purpose of establishing an auto sales lot or a gas/food mart and no other permitted uses in the B-2 zone, affecting property containing .20 acres and is known as 1 East Boundary Street.
