No Gas!

AUGUSTA, GA (Anibal Ibarra) - The Transit Citizens Advisory Committee at its first meeting of 2015 was abruptly ended for lack of quorum.

This vehicle is stuck!

The Transit Citizens Advisory Committee's work seems to be stalled right at a moment when critical issues and interest in improving public transit should be propelling it forward.

Every vibrant city has a thriving public transit system and Augustans desire that amenity as well. This committee was unable to initiate its work until last July (delayed 6 months) and now is experiencing difficulties with getting a quorum, primarily due to the fact that Commissioners have failed to make the necessary appointments.

This body is committed to its mission and will work out details to amend the bylaws with attorney Kenneth Bray so that they might be able to once again commence their efforts to represent the citizens interests in Augusta, as pointed out by some of its members.
