Augusta Commission Did It Again

AUGUSTA, GA (Anibal Ibarra) - During the same session was approved the tax excise subsidy on energy for industries while the Augusta Richmond County Commission denied a break to a non-profit organization, Augusta Care Pregnancy Center, for the use of the TEE Center. Commissioner Wayne Guilfoyle insisted that non-profits -including churches- must start paying taxes or fees for city services. On the other hand, a city employee complained for unsafe work environment while law enforcement officers were praised by the Commission for outstanding job in reducing crime in the county.
