Dear Friends of The Garden ,
Thanks you so much for participating in this years, Day of Service from 9am-12 noon at The Harrisburg Community Garden right here in Augusta, Georgia. THANK YOU for weeding, digging, clipping and trimming. Thank you to our painters who made beautiful works of art and to all who lent a hand.
I especially want to extend a Thanks to the members of the The Adderson Organic Farm and to our neighbors from the former Central Park Community Garden and to our volunteers from Laney High School and their fearless leader Coach Shahid Abdul Jabbar.
As you know our First Lady Michele Obama has encouraged us as citizens to eat healthy and promotes a healthy lifestyle for us and our families. I want to thank you for helping us to prepare our garden space to once again demonstrate healthy living right here in my neighborhood.
I hope that you will continue to remain in touch with us and watch us Grow!
